Procurement organisations are increasingly overwhelmed by a growing software portfolio, driven by SaaS applications. This surge adds risk and effort to conduct third-party risk assessments and ensure purchases and contracts comply with company policies. Especially non-strategic contracts frequently suffer from resource shortages, leading to missed savings and unfavorable terms. Additionally, strategic vendors and contracts are challenging despite the focus of the procurement organisation. End-users often face unexpected price hikes or changes in licensing and pricing models. For instance, Broadcom’s shift to a subscription-based model after acquiring VMware, Oracle’s transition to an employee-based licensing model for Oracle Java SE, or SAP’s push to transform ECC platforms to S/4HANA. However, end-users often overlook how proactive measures and a thorough understanding of the facts can help optimise spending.Do you have a clear view of the various options available in the market to optimise costs and reinvest savings to innovate your IT estate? In this session you will learn:
