The reliance on detailed specifications can unintentionally limit the solutions suppliers propose or even prevent capable vandors from biding, which can also lead to increased costs. This session explores agile tendering, a solution-focused approach where the organization defines problems at a high level, engage multiple suppliers quickly, and validate solutions in short cycles. Importantly, success requires the right internal processes, alignment, and mindset—ensuring stakeholders are prepared to act fast, evaluate effectively, and take ownership of outcomes.
