Francesco is a seasoned Software Asset Manager at Vestas, where he is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing policies and processes for software asset and licensing management across the organization. His expertise includes conducting software audits, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and collaborating with finance, procurement, and technology teams to negotiate software vendor agreements. Prior to joining Vestas, Francesco held several key roles in software asset management at SoftwareOne, KPMG, Deloitte, and UBS. He has extensive experience in managing Effective License Positions (ELP), optimizing software deployments with SAM platforms like SNOW and Flexera, and driving cost-efficient software procurement strategies. His background also includes working with major software vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, and VMware.
